Downtown High Springs Art Walk

As summer heats up so are the artists as they get ready for another Art Walk in downtown historic High Springs on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 from 12pm to 5pm.  Merchants will showcase High Springs’ walkable, charming small-town hospitality that High Springs has become famous for.

This month’s Art Walk will feature:

  • 15 to 20 local artists and makers situated both inside stores and on the sidewalks of downtown with some locations featuring live painting and demonstrations including:

o   Unique Notions hosts Jason Clark, Mixed Media doing live painting (https://www.instagram.com/jaemsee/)

o   Bambi’s Café hosts Arianna Uberti doing live painting (https://www.facebook.com/ariannauberti)

o   Lanza Gallery & Art Supplies hosts Pam Valcante, Lion’s Tooth Designs, doing live painting (https://www.facebook.com/lionstoothdesigns); award winning Color pencil demo by Anda Chance 12 Noon – 2pm; and Make a Clay Animal with Diane Hornby 2:30 – 4:30pm $5 per child or adult

o   Lovely Nails Salon hosts Ariel Linville, Linville Studios botanical photography.

  • Sales and specials at businesses throughout downtown;
  • Ongoing gallery exhibits at Good News Arts Gallery and Lanza Gallery & Art Supplies.

 

This monthly event is an opportunity for local artisans and artists to demonstrate and display their talents and offer their works for sale in storefronts throughout the downtown area. Participating merchants will offer specials and sales during the event.
